HIMSS EMEA develops new educational programme for 2007

HIMSS is currently developing educational activities that are specifically targeted to Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The programme builds on more than 40 years’ provision of world-class education to the Health ICT community in North America.
Its EMEA activities use the latest ICT tools, including interactive web-based seminars.
HIMSS has identified six overarching thematic areas for its educational activities, ranging from ICT applications and their impact to managing eHealth, finance and investment, interoperability, policy issues (including legal and ethical questions) and the latest cutting-edge applications in Health ICT. Within these wide-ranging areas, its educational activities in 2007 will focus on several “top topics”.
