Our educational mission
HIMSS will empower the Europe community by offering practical and effective Health ICT education that takes into account global developments while being tailored to the needs of local communities.
A local and targeted approach
In an increasingly “global” world, professional development and lifelong learning are becoming more and more important for staying ahead. The HIMSS experiences in North America over the last 40 years have shown the clear advantages that providing first-rate education can bring to the Health IT community. We are now building on these experiences to provide educational activities that are specifically targeted at the challenges facing the Europe region.
Interactive learning
Our services are available using the latest ICT tools including interactive web-based seminar (eSeminars). The 2007 eSeminars series allows you to send and receive information as well as discuss issues with other participants located throughout the region – and all without leaving your chair. By inviting other interested colleagues to be in the room with you, our activities will become even more cost-effective for your organisation.
