What’s an eSeminar?
eSeminars are online seminars where you will be able to send and receive information as well as discuss issues with a global audience – and all without leaving your chair. All you need is your PC, an internet connection and a telephone.

Can I have another person participate in the eSeminar with me?
Yes, you are welcome to invite other persons to participate in the eSeminar. Simply forward them your invitation or direct to them to the eSeminar registration site.

I lost my access information. How can I obtain a copy?
You must request a copy of your access information via email at this address education-emea@himss.org from the time you register until up to 20 minutes after the eSeminar begins. You must use the email account that was used at the time you registered, or include it in your request.

What are the minimum system requirements for my computer, browser and Internet connection?
HIMSS EMEA work using your web browser, and you will be required to download Microsoft Live Meeting eSeminar software. You will need the following minimum resources:

How do I join the eSeminar?
See instructions under Registration.

Where do I find a toll-free number for my country?
A list of toll-free numbers is available on our website. If there is no toll-free number available for your country, please dial the Standard International Number (UK): + 44 1452 587 436. Please note that this number is not toll-free and will be charged as a call from your country to the United Kingdom.

How do I mute my phone's mouthpiece?
When you are connected to the eSeminar system, you will automatically be placed into conference on a muted line.

How do I ask a question?
Press *1 on your telephone: For sound quality reasons and as a convenience to all participants, your telephone will be muted by the moderator during the body of the presentation. During the Q&A section(s), you will be prompted by the moderator to press *1 to ask a question. When you have pressed *1 you will enter a queuing system. Simply wait for your name to be announced by the moderator and you’re line will automatically open up. After your question has been answered, you will be placed back into muted mode.

I can't get my computer to work with the eSeminar. What do I do?
Be sure that your browser has passed the browser check.

I have logged in, but nobody seems to be there. What’s wrong?
You may have logged in on the wrong date or at the wrong time, or using an incorrect Pass Code. Check the email message we sent with your access information for the correct date, time, phone number, web address and code. If all information is correct, then please wait a few minutes for the moderator to begin the eSeminar; there may have been a technical issue that has briefly delayed the start time.

I've lost my Internet connection, or the slides are not progressing as the speaker says they should be. What do I do?
Hit the Reload button of your browser. You may be asked to log in again; if so, close your browser and click on the re-join meeting button. Please use the same information, exactly as you typed it in before.

Can I see the eSeminar again or watch former eSeminars?
All eSeminars will be recorded and archived on the HIMSS EMEA website. All participants will receive the link in an email sent to them after the eSeminar.
